Webcore Games was called to action by the renowned board game studio Fantasy Flight Games to assist in the development of the recent released and highly anticipated Descent: Legends of the Dark. The app driven board game is the definitive dungeon-crawling cooperative board game for one to four players. As external developers, we joined the development of the app to help Fantasy Flight Games ensure that all features were implemented in time for a solid launch.
Across the gripping quests of an unfolding campaign, players venture across the realm, battling terrifying monsters, unlocking new skills, and exploring a wondrous fantasy world. The whole experience is made possible only through the fully integrated companion app, opening the door for an unforgettable journey as players explore high towers, dismal tombs, dark forests, and the city of Frostgate. Along with 46 pieces of 3D terrain and 40 striking hero and monster miniatures bringing the game to life, Legends of the Dark is an invitation to adventure that no one will want to miss.
